10, 000 B.C. is an excellent movie of ancient times. Is an adventure movie of a guy that is not liked by his tribe, trying to rescue his love that was kidnapped by a supposedly god. The movie represents the frustration, fear and hope of love.

After the father of the Hero, leaves the tribe, his son becomes a very unpopular boyhe other members of the tribe think that his father is a coward and fled cause the shortage of food. He spends all his time trying to prove that the people are wrong. When he succeeds he obtains the permission to marry the most beautiful women of the tribe, but after a few days the girl is kidnapped and he tries to rescue her, risking his life with all the dangers of the out world.

The movie is from Warner Bros. and was released in March 7 2008. It lasts 109 min. The main characters are interpreted by: Omar Sharif (Narrator), Steven Strait (Hero) and Camilla Belle (Hero's Wife). The director of the movie is Roland Emmerich. The movie was film in New Zeland, South Africa and Namibia. The budget of the movie was about 105 million dollars.

In my opinion the movie is espectacular, the plot of the movie is interesting and always has adventure. The actors are in their characters, so it makes the film more realistic and great.

Cape farewell!!! is and organization helping to prevent the global warming. They organize trips with students of different parts of the world. They travel to the north pole, passing through Canada, then Greenland and finally to the North Pole. The objective of the trip is to investigate how the glaciers are being affected by global warming. Then after having conclusions they exposed their investigation to the world.

I think is a good idea to have students analysing and preventing global warming. Keep going Cape Farewell!!
